Mike Rauss makes music that is both playful and profound. Funk, folk, oriental melodies and groove-driven songwriting are woven together with his smooth voice, guitar, beatbox and live looping. Born into a nomadic musical family, Mike is now based in Barcelona, where his sound continues to evolve.
Fresh off his debut album Minutes Made of Years, his music has reached listeners in more than 160 countries, festival stages like Fusion, and compilations by Putumayo. From Sweden to Mexico, audiences have been captivated by his powerful mix of live looping, virtuosic guitar and soulful singing.
He also tours regularly with his sister Kim as the duo KAYAM, blending sibling harmonies, harp and guitar.
